SynQor Announces its New Line of Military COTS Demi-Brick Size Converters
Boxborough, MA – SynQor, Inc. announces the release of its Military Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Demi Brick Series of DC-DC converters. The new Demi Brick is an isolated and fully regulated converter in a 1.55″ x 1.52″ x 0.50″ size package. This small package is light weight (less than 2 ounces) and offers up to 50W of output power. It has a 28V nominal input voltage (16V-40V continuous range with a 50V transient) and comes in many single and dual output voltages: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 28V, +/-12V and +/-15V. Each output voltage has a trim range of +10% to -10%.
The converters have a fixed switching frequency that provides for predictable EMI performance. Additional features include on/off control referenced to the input return, input under-voltage lockout, output current limit and short circuit protection, active back bias limit, output over-voltage protection and clock synchronization. SynQor’s new Demi Bricks are designed to meet MIL-HDBK-704, MIL-STD-1275 and MIL-STD-461 when paired with our MCOTS EMI filters. The Mil-COTS product line has also been qualified to MIL-STD-810.
The Demi Brick converters are ideal for the demanding need to meet the smaller size and weight restrictions of today’s Military Market.
